The Piece
The pixiu is the traditional guardian of wealth: it takes fortune in and lets none of it out. Ours is modelled with restraint — no bulging eyes or gilt teeth, just a seated guardian with its chin slightly raised. At 1.6 kg it stays exactly where you put it.
Craft
Lost-wax cast in solid brass, hand-chased and polished over two days. The base is lined with micro-suede so it will not mark the desk. Numbered edition with certificate.
Placement
On the desk, facing the door — always facing the door. The card covers the couple of traditional rules; they take a minute to read and are easy to keep.
