Three new pieces cleared inspection this week and are now in the Dusk Archive.
The one we are most pleased about is the jade seal. We first saw the stone in spring — a single block with an unusually clean cloud running through it — and asked the carver to follow the cloud rather than fight it. The beast on the crown took most of a season. There is exactly one, and when it goes, it goes.
The patina amulets are back as well, in a small numbered batch. Fair warning from last time: the edition sold out in nine days, and we could not simply “make more” because the ageing process does not hurry. Three remain as of this morning.
Finally, the filigree pendants — an edition of five, all cut from the same Brazilian smoky quartz seam. The filigree workshop that makes these takes on two apprentices a year, which is the entire reason editions stay small.
Archive pieces are exchange-only (they are numbered or one-of-one), so if you are on the fence, write to us first and we will answer honestly about whether a piece suits your space.
