Description
The Piece
Nested brass rings on a black limestone base, aligned to the solstitial axis. It is the largest object in the line and the one our consultants place most often — a side table carries it the way a mantel carries a clock.
Craft
The rings are spun and hand-riveted, then lacquered to slow the patina. The pedestal is cut from a single block of limestone. Every sphere is assembled, tensioned and spun true before it is packed.
Placement
Traditionally the wealth corner: the far left of the home as seen from the front door. The card marks both solstice dates and a one-minute realignment for each — a nice ritual to keep, entirely optional.
